Realme has created a record-breaking fast charger.
The Chinese company has developed a USB charging device that, with 320W, can power a phone up to 100% in just under four minutes and thirty seconds.
Francis Wong, head of product marketing at Realme, said: “To be a tech brand that better understands young users, we need to make sure our products satisfy their demand for speed.”
The previous record was held by the brand Redmi, owned by Xiaomi, who released a charger that clocked in with a speed of just seconds less than five full minutes when it comes to getting a phone’s battery filled.
Apple’s fastest charger – which is used to charge some of its newer iPhones – is 96W.

In a post on Reddit, one user commented: “My phone charges at 125W and it goes to two percentage points and counts up in real time. Takes almost no time to charge.
“This is an insane speed.”
