Samsung has unveiled its new “immersive” artificial intelligence-powered Interactive Display for classrooms.
Showcased at Europe’s biggest education technology exhibition, Bett 2025 at ExCel London, the WAFX-P model offers 65”, 75” and 86” options and carries a neural processing unit (NPU) that can drive performances of up to 4.8 trillion operations per second.
It also has an octa-core CPU, that enables smooth multitasking and “resource-heavy” educational applications.
Classes can be immersed in a “multimedia-ready environment for video conferencing and collaborative learning”, thanks to its 450-nit max brightness, built-in 4K camera, microphone and 20-watt speaker.
The new product features Samsung AI Assistant, which includes innovative tools, including circle to search, an AI summary and a live transcript.
Hoon Chung, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, said: “Samsung envisions a future where every classroom benefits from the transformative power of AI.
“By integrating advanced tools like generative AI and real-time transcription into our classroom displays with Samsung AI Assistant, we are not just enhancing learning — we are revolutionizing it.
“We are committed to creating technology that inspires educators and students to explore, discover and grow together.”
