‘Bling Empire’ star Lynn Ban – who appeared on the Netflix show’s New York spinoff – has died aged 51 weeks after surgery following a ski accident.

‘Bling Empire’ star Lynn Ban has died aged 51.

The celebrity jewellery designer – who appeared on Netflix show ‘Bling Empire: New York’ – has passed away weeks after undergoing brain surgery following a ski accident on Christmas Eve (24.12.24).

On Wednesday (22.01.25), her son Sebastian wrote on his late mother’s Instagram account: “My mum passed away on Monday.

“I know she wanted to share her journey after her accident and brain surgery, so I thought she would appreciate one last post sharing the news to people who supported her.”

He described Lynn has his “best friend” and “the best mother”, hailing her as “someone who cared for all”.

He continued: “She always had a smile on her face even when times were tough during her recovery process.

“She was a fighter until the end and is the strongest woman I know. She was the funniest and coolest mum I could ever ask for.

“She took care of me, my dad, and our Entire family throughout her whole life.

“Although she may be gone now, I will do everything I can to make sure she is never forgotten and for her life to be celebrated as it deserves to be.”

Late last year, Lynn told her follows how life can change “in the blink of an eye” as she opened up on her horror accident.

She recalled: “Christmas Eve on a beautiful sunny day in Aspen on vacation with my family, I had a ski accident that would change my life .

“At the top of the mountain I caught a tip and face planted.

“Luckily I always wear a helmet, It didn’t seem that bad at the time and I was able to ski to the bottom. Erring on the side of caution , I wanted to get checked out by ski patrol for a concussion . They assessed me and I was cleared.”

However, after lunch she “had a bit of a headache”, and a paramedic suggested she should “go to the hospital for a cat scan”.

She continued: “I went in a taxi with Jett and within 30 minutes they told us I had a brain bleed and needed to be airlifted to the trauma hospital.

“Last thing I remember was being intubated and waking up after an emergency craniotomy with Jett by my side. (sic)”

After her post before her death, her friends and fans flooded the comment with well wishes.

‘Blind Empire’ star Christine Chiu wrote: “I’m so so sorry… sending you much love prayers and a smooth recovery.”

And co-star Dorothy Wang added: “OMG Lynn I have chills. So happy you are OK and have your incredible tribe by your side. Sending you all my love and and wishing you healing.”
