Travis Scott is teaming up with the Fashion Scholarship Fund.

The 33-year-old rapper and his own Cactus Jack Foundation are launching the Cactus Jack Design Ethos 101 Program – an online initiative with a curriculum brought together by the foundation’s team – to provide two students with mentorship and $10,000 each.

In a statement, Travis told Women’s Wear Daily: “By dismantling barriers, igniting imaginations and unlocking the potential of aspiring creatives, the Cactus Jack Design Ethos program offers more than just an education — it extends an invitation to dream, create and leave an indelible mark on the world.

“I’m excited that the FSF’s aspiring talent are able to take this unique journey through the realms of fashion, design and music.”

The two recipients will also get to visit the Cactus Jack Design Center in Houston, Texas to take part in an immersive experience.

Last year, three scholars from the FSF’s class of 2024 were given $10,000 as Cactus Jack Design Ethos Scholars, with three more getting the scholarship from this year’s class.

Now, the programme aims to “immerse students in the world that shaped Travis Scott’s artistic and innovative journey and the groundbreaking Cactus Jack brand”, according to the FSF.

The organisation’s executive director Peter Arnold added that they want to keep providing youngsters with “educational opportunities and more.

He added: “The FSF’s mission is to provide our community of young talent with an array of mentors, career development and educational opportunities.

“We are pleased to continue our partnership with the Cactus Jack Foundation, and to offer our network of alumni, current scholars and scholar applicants access to its incredible creative and design resources.”
