Gracie Abrams has been left “heartbroken” after having to cancel two concerts.
The 27-year-old singer had to pull out of her show at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham on Monday (03.03.25) and also cancelled the performance that was due to take place in Leeds the following evening.
She wrote on Instagram: “I hate that I have to write this again so soon.
“Unfortunately, I am really still struggling with this illness and have been advised that I cannot perform these next two nights.
“I can’t tell you how much this breaks my heart. This tour is something I’ve been dreaming of since the album came out, and the shows we’ve played so far have meant more to me than I can tell you.”
The ‘That’s So True’ hitmaker is halfway through the European leg of her ‘The Secret of Us’ tour but shared her “deepest regrets” at having to pull the plug on two of her shows in the UK at the last minute.
She said: “The moment we have any concrete details about these two shows in your cities, we will be in touch. Please know I’d give anything to be able to be with you. Thank you for understanding. I’m sending all my love and my deepest regrets.”
Towards the end of February, Gracie also cancelled a show that was to take place in Brussells as she fought off a “gnarly” illness.
She said: ” My body has been fighting off something gnarly for the past week, and despite doing everything in my power to keep it contained, it has gotten to a point where all medical advice I’ve received says I cannot perform and need to rest.
“At this point in time I can’t give you the show you deserve and that breaks my heart, especially knowing all the travel and the planning and the care that you put into attending our show.”
