The musician instantly hit it off with the high end jewellery brand’s designer Philippe Vergez – whose pieces have been worn by the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker, Rihanna and Anne Hathaway – and he knew immediately she was a “muse” to him, with the ‘Labryrinth of Life’ singer’s “creativity and passion” sparking their connection.
Phillippe said in a statement: “Within a short time, it came natural for Qymira to emerge as the new face of VERGEZ. I recognized her as a muse, an artist of exceptional depth and a performer destined to dazzle.
“I sought to craft pieces that would resonate with her essence, not merely as jewelry but as extensions of her spirit, echoing her creativity and passion.”
Qymira has her own music and arts foundation for young people, One Gaia, while Phillippe supports The House of Affection – which supports orphans in Vietnam – and their philanthropy was another area in which they bonded.
The jewellery firm said: “When Qymira, a luminous artist and advocate, met Philippe Vergez, the visionary behind VERGEZ, their bond was rooted in a shared mission to uplift children in need.”
Among the standout pieces in the collection are a Roaring Choker, which designed for Qymira to wear on her recent tour dates and features a lion’s head in sterling silver plated with rhodium, surrounded by white Tahitian pearls and seven black Tahitian pearls.
The lion emblem also features on pendants, earrings and rings, while other pieces are alo availble in the collection.
Vergez are donating a percentage of sales to organisations such as One Gaia Foundation and The House of Affection.
