Kyle Richards had a “very uncomfortable” conversation with her daughters about her sexuality amid rumours about her friendship with Morgan Wade.

Kyle Richards had a “very uncomfortable” conversation with her daughters about her sexuality.

The 56-year-old reality star felt she needed to have a chat with Farrah, 36, Alexia, 28, Sophia, 25, and 17-year-old Portia as a result of “relentless” online speculation about her friendship with singer Morgan Wade, even though she “wasn’t quite sure herself” about her feelings, and she was “really proud” of how the quartet responded.

Kyle – who has Farrah with first husband Guraish Aldjufrie and her other kids with estranged spouse Mauricio Umansky – said on the ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ reunion: “It had gotten to that point where it was something that I needed to address with my daughters.

“I wasn’t quite sure myself, to be honest. That’s not something you wake up one day and go, ‘Oh.’ It was a strange feeling.

“It was a very uncomfortable, hard conversation to have. I wanted them to always be proud of me and I didn’t want to embarrass them.”

Kyle had a particularly touching response from her youngest daughter.

She added: “That was a hard thing to talk about and they were, all of them, were very supportive.

“Portia stood up and she came over and she put her arms around me, and she said, ‘I love you and there’s nothing you could say that would make us not love you.’”

Host Andy Cohen noted: “That’s what my dad said to me when I came out to him, actuall.”

But Kyle stressed: “I didn’t say … I’m saying I have questions.”

And the brunette beauty admitted having the conversation with her daughters made her feel she had “the freedom” to do what makes her happy going forward.

While Kyle and Morgan have so far maintained they are just friends, she admitted the speculation made her question whether she had a “crush”.

She said: “When people, and I know that the illusion was all this stuff was going on, there [were] photos.

“When the chatter first started happening, before the music video and all that, that would never have crossed my mind. Anything like that, ever in my life. I have a very specific type.

“It did make me think, ‘Well, what is going on here?’ Maybe I’m not seeing something.”
