ChatGPT can now connect to your Google Drive, Dropbox and more.

OpenAI has announced updates to its artificial intelligence chatbot, which can use “record mode” for meetings, or even just the user thinking out loud, for those with the ChatGPT Team subscription.

As confirmed by OpenAI, the tool can connect to your Google Drive, Dropbox, Sharepoint, OneDrive and Box.

From there, users can ask questions about stored documents, such as company’s revenue, or the number of ferry trips taken on a trip the previous year.

In a press release, OpenAI added: “ChatGPT will structure and clearly present the data – and respect your organisation’s existing permissions on the user level – from those documents, with citations.”

The recording feature is part of the ChatGPT Team plan – which costs $25 per person each month alongside an annual subscription of two or more users.

The notes and transcriptions will have action items and timestamps, while the feature means ChatGPT can compete with the likes of Zoom, Notion adn ClickUp with similar tools.
