Kerry Katona is “set” on having another baby.
The 44-year-old star – who has Molly , 23, and Lilly-Sue, 22, with first husband Brian McFadden, Heidi, 18, and Max, 17, with Mark Croft, and daughter DJ, 11, with the late George Kay – recently shared a photo of herself and former fiance Ryan Mahoney with her youngest daughter, and while she is happy for him to see the children, she insisted they won’t be getting back together because she is looking to the future.
Writing in her new! magazine column, she said: “DJ had her school leavers’ dance as she’s heading up to secondary school in September, which is crazy to think about. On 6 July, it was also the sixth anniversary of her dad George’s death, so that wasn’t easy.
“But I was so proud of DJ and Ryan was there to see her off too, since he’s been such a big part of her life.
“I posted a picture of the three of us on Instagram and so many people asked if we’re back together, which we are not. I’d never want to stop him seeing the kids, but I’d never go back there.
“I’m now set on the fact I want another baby – I thought I was done with having kids, but I’ve been feeling really broody, so we’ll see…”
Kerry’s first husband Brian recently married for the third time and the former Atomic Kitten star revealed she had got in touch with his new wife Danielle Parkinson ahead of their nuptials in order to wish them well.
She wrote: “My ex, Brian McFadden, got married earlier this month and I just want to wish him and his wife Danielle a lifetime of happiness. I find it sad though that as he gets married, everyone writes stories about me.
“His wedding has nothing to do with me at all. I texted Danielle to wish them a happy day – it looked like a beautiful celebration and I hope they had a ball.”
Meanwhile, Kerry also shared one of her parenting regrets, wishing she had been stricter over the use of electronic devices and screen time.
She wrote: “I wish I had imposed more restrictions on my kids when it comes to technology – now it’s impossible to get them to go outside. People have everything at their fingertips and no real reason to leave the house. It’s really sad.”
