Elon Musk has unveiled plans for a new Grok AI companion inspired by the Twilight Saga.
Elon Musk is introducing a Grok AI companion inspired by Edward Cullen.
Earlier this week, the X owner rolled out a chatbot companion for SuperGrok subscribers, including a “NSFW” mode for anime character Ani, and now he’s teased a broody-looking male version with dark hair.
He wrote on X: “What should we name our male @Grok companion?
“His personality is inspired by Edward Cullen from Twilight and Christian Grey from 50 Shades.”
Cullen – who was played by Robert Pattinson in the Twilight Saga movies – was actually the inspired for the 50 Shades of Grey character, as the spicy novels were originally created as a Twilight fan fiction.
Musk later posted: “His name will be Valentine, after the protagonist in Stranger in a Strange Land, the Heinlein book where our AI name ‘Grok’ was created.
“To Grok something means to understand deeply and empathetically.”
The billionaire tech guru also confirmed that in the future, SuperGrok users will be able to create their own “unique companions” on the platform”.
He added: “Yes, custom and unique companions. No two will be the same.”
