Sir Anthony Hopkins has teased Kim Kardashian by wearing her new SKIMS chinstrap to recreate his murderous character Hannibal Lecter and offer her a creepy invitation to dinner.

Sir Anthony Hopkins teased Kim Kardashian by channelling Hannibal Lecter to offer her a creepy dinner invitation.

The 87-year-old actor posted a video on Instagran which showed him wearing a facial support garment from Kim’s shapewear brand SKIMS in a joking nod to the murderous cannibal he played in 1991 movie The Silence of the Lambs – who wore a mask to prevent him from biting his captors – and Hopkins used the clip to poke fun at the reality star.

He said: “Hello Kim, I’m already feeling 10 years younger. Goodbye.”

Hopkins then recreated the noise Lecter made in the film when describing how he ate the liver of one of his victims with “fava beans and a nice Chianti”.

He captioned the post: “Thank you, Kim. Don’t be afraid to come over for dinner.”

Kim took the post in good humour and replied to Hopkins’ post, writing: “I’M SCREAMING!!!!!”

Hopkins was poking fun at SKIMS’ new Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap ($48) which is said to use sculpting fabric to shape the jaw.

A post on the brand’s website states of the product: “This must-have face wrap boasts our signature sculpting fabric and features collagen yarns for ultra-soft jaw support. Velcro closures at the top and nape of the neck allow for easy, everyday wear.”

Kim launched SKIMS shapewear in 2019 but she has since expanded the line to include clothing and pyjamas as she recently revealed she’s also hoping to add a beauty and perfume collection – reacquiring her SKKN brand with plans to relaunch it under the SKIMS banner.
