Apple is reportedly going to reveal the iPhone 17 lineup during its annual product announcement event on September 9, 2025.
Apple is reportedly planning to unveil the iPhone 17 lineup at a special event on September 9, 2025.
According to iphone-ticker.de, the Cupertino company is going to reveal its next handsets in just over a month’s time.
The date, while not yet officially confirmed by Apple, aligns with the company’s typical launch schedule, and Bloomberg’s previous report that the announcement would take place during the week of September 8.
Apple has historically held its annual iPhone events in early to mid-September, usually on a Tuesday.
If accurate, invitations to the media could be sent out in late August.
This year’s iPhone 17 launch is expected to be one of Apple’s most significant in years.
Leaks suggest the company will introduce new AI-driven features, an upgraded Pro camera system, and a redesigned chassis for at least one of the models – likely the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
The 17 Pro, reportedly spotted in public, appeared to show a reconfigured rear camera layout, fuelling speculation about a new sensor design.
Meanwhile, the supposed iPhone 17 Air is reportedly going to be Apple’s thinnest iPhone ever, and is said to serve as a replacement for the Plus variant in the lineup.
As always, Apple is expected to stream the event live from Apple Park in Cupertino, California.
If the September 9 date holds, pre-orders for the new iPhones could begin as early as Friday, September 12, with general availability a week later.
The event may also include updates to other products, such as the Apple Watch Series 11 and new AirPods, although these details remain unconfirmed.
