Elizabeth Hurley is “very happy” with Billy Ray Cyrus and is delighted their children get along.

The 60-year-old actress embarked on a relationship with the Achy Breaky Heart singer earlier this year and she’s now opened up about their love affair revealing her son Damian, 23, has met Billy’s pop star daughter Miley Cyrus, 32, and “everyone loves everyone”.

Elizabeth told The Sunday Times newspaper: “Billy Ray is fabulous. We’re very happy, very happy …

“Damian and Miley have met, Billy’s kids are great and Billy has spent a lot of time with Damian. Everyone loves everyone, it’s lovely.”

Damian is Elizabeth’s only child from a previous relationship with late businessman Steve Bing, while Billy is dad to six children including five with his ex-wife Tish Cyrus.

Elizabeth is based in the UK while Billy has a home in Tennessee and the Bedazzled star says her love is happy spending time at her country home.

She told the publication: “He loves it the UK]. Obviously he loves England. The weather is nicer here in the summer than it is in Tennessee.

“He lives 40 minutes outside of Nashville. It’s so beautiful. Funnily enough, it actually looks a lot like England. Probably the equivalent of Surrey.”

It comes after Elizabeth joked she and Billy are in “constant danger of choking on hair balls” because they’re both renowned for their glossy tresses.

She told Attitude magazine: “Billy and I have so much hair between us that we’re in constant danger of choking on hair balls.”

The Austin Powers actress believes the 67-year-old singer is the “more romantic” partner and she was delighted with the thoughtful gift he chose for her birthday. – revealing he bought her a tepee which they put up in the garden.

She added: “He’s definitely more romantic than me; he spent the summer strumming his guitar under a tree, composing love songs as I strimmed and chainsawed around him. But he gave me a giant tepee for my birthday, and we snuggle up in that and it’s extremely romantic.”

She added: “Billy and I watch birds of prey through our binoculars most days and see them build their nests, hunt to feed their babies and then prepare them to go out into the big, bad world and fly solo.

“While I’m not ripping up squirrels with my talons to feed my son, I would if I had to. There’s nothing like parenthood to bring out the call of the wild.”
