Google’s latest Pixel Feature Drop adds a Wicked: For Good theme pack inspired by the musical movie, alongside new Gemini-powered AI tools for messaging, notifications, and personalisation.
Google is bringing a touch of Broadway magic to Pixel devices with its new Wicked: For Good theme pack as part of the company’s November 2025 Pixel Feature Drop.
Inspired by the the upcoming musical blockbuster, the Wicked: For Good pack transforms the Pixel interface with wallpapers, icons, sounds, and GIFs based on the story’s central characters.
Users can choose from three visual styles – For Good, Glinda, and Elphaba – each evoking the film’s vibrant colour palette and fantasy aesthetic.
Google has said the theme is designed to “make your device feel magical with just a tap,” aligning with its push to blend cultural moments with personal tech customisation.
The Wicked collaboration headlines a feature drop that also leans heavily on AI enhancements.
Gemini-powered tools now enable Remix in Google Messages, allowing users to edit, generate, and swap creative photos directly in chat threads.
New AI notification summaries condense long conversations into quick recaps, while scam detection for chat notifications helps warn Pixel users about suspicious messages across popular apps.
Additional updates include Power Saving Mode in Google Maps, extending battery life by up to four hours during navigation, and Call Notes expansion to more regions, enabling on-device transcription and summaries via Gemini Nano.
The Wicked: For Good theme is available through Pixel’s customisation settings and the Google Wallpaper app.
Themed accessories, including matching watch faces and ringtones, are expected to roll out later this month to celebrate the film’s release.
