Quinton Aaron ‘laughing and smiling’ in hospital after stroke

Quinton Aaron’s family have shared that he is recovering well and is looking forward to the Super Bowl this weekend following a “spinal stroke”.

Quinton Aaron is “laughing and smiling” in hospital as he recovers from a “spinal stroke”.

The Blind Side star – who starred opposite Sandra Bullock in the 2009 Oscar winning film – was rushed to hospital last week after collapsing at his home and his family have shared that he is recovering well and is looking forward to the Super Bowl this weekend.

The 41-year-old actor’s relatives told TMZ: “Quinton is in a jovial mood, now laughing and smiling and is communicating to the best of his ability while he continues to recover. He’s watching tv and is excited to watch the Super Bowl from his hospital bed this weekend.”

Meanwhile, a woman named Margarita – who has claimed to be Quinton’s wife – has said that she is “no longer allowed at the hospital” and she is worried he will think she has abandoned him.

She told TMZ that she does not have any way of reaching him as she has his phone. She went on to say she loves Quinton and is devastated that she cannot be by his side.

This comes after she said they “got spiritually married” but his family have insisted she has no connection to Quinton.

And when giving a previous update on Quinton’s medical issues, they warned the public only to trust information from family and “chosen spokesperson and life long friend Liana Mendoza”.

They told TMZ: “We acknowledge that you’ve heard about Quinton Aaron‘s condition. We appreciate the overwhelming love, support and prayers that Quinton has received over the past few days from his fans, the public, and our concerned community …

“To update everyone, he had a spinal stroke. He is alert, aware and recovering.”

The statement added: “The Aaron family has a lot to deal with for the betterment of their loved one, but will be sure to keep everyone posted regarding Quinton‘s health as we see fit.

“To be clear, any other information that you hear pertaining to Quinton’s health from any other source that isn’t coming directly from his official blood relative family, that will come in the form of their appointed chosen spokesperson and life long friend Liana Mendoza, is not to be taken as factual information.

“We kindly ask the public to please respect the decisions we make and to please understand that false information or statements may be made by others who continue to come forward but are not fully informed or aware of all of the facts surrounding his condition nor do they have the authority to do so.”
