Taylor Swift’s fiance Travis Kelce has revealed he’s got big plans for his partnership with Tommy Hilfiger – declaring it’s a “dream come true” to work with the brand and he can’t wait to put his “own twist on timeless pieces”.

Taylor Swift’s fiance has been announced as an ambassador and creative collaborator for the brand and the Kansas City Chiefs star is excited about bringing his fashion plans to life.
In a statement, Travis said: “I’ve long admired Tommy Hilfiger as an iconic American brand. Ever since high school, when I used to ask my mom to buy Sailing Gear jackets, I’ve been drawn towards the brand’s confident style, and over the years have respected its ability to be classic and consistent while still evolving.
“Getting to work with Tommy and put my own twist on timeless pieces, in a way that feels original for today, is a dream come true.”
Hilfiger added: “Travis Kelce is one of the magnetic figures in sport and culture today. He is at the forefront of a new generation of athletes expressing themselves through style, with a down-to-earth quality that people immediately connect with.
“I’m excited to see how he brings his fearless, fun-loving and bold take on Prep Made Current to fans around the world.”
The 75-year-old designer opened up about his new signing in an interview with WWD – calling Travis a “true American icon” who is a perfect fit for Tommy Hilfiger.
He told the publication: “As you know, we’ve over the years had a lot of iconic ambassadors, from Rafael Nadal to Gigi Hadid, Lewis Hamilton and recently Damson Idris from the F1 movie.
“We think Travis is a true American icon. He’s not only a talented athlete, but he’s a great person, a great personality and he’s one of the most talked-about people in sport and pop culture.”
Hilfiger went on to insist he’s big fan of Travis’ personal style, adding: “I’m excited to see how he brings a vibrant and bold take on our modern prep.
“Because that’s what he wears. He wears preppy with a twist. He loves color and is not afraid to wear it. He’s in the zeitgeist …
“And you know he has a natural instinct for style. He knows what looks good on him. He likes to feel current … “
Hilfiger added that Travis wants to create pieces for the brand that he “would actually wear”.
The menswear capsule collection will be mostly focused on sportswear but with some tailored clothing and it will be available in sixes XS to XXL. Travis will also star in the brand’s autumn 2026 advertising campaign.
