OnlyFans creator and former Skins star Megan Prescott is helping educate people on the climate crisis.
Megan Prescott is leading a new Adam McKay series bringing climate change information to OnlyFans.
The former Skins actress – who has built a prominent following on the adult subscription site – has helped the Anchorman filmmaker launch the new Headline Newds series through his non-profit Yellow Dot Studios.
The project aims to use sexy and provocative direct-to-camera short films to provide clear and memorable climate facts to a different audience.
Megan has co-created the project alongside climate narrative strategist and screenwriter
Jessica Riches, and top-earning OnlyFans creator Bree Essrig.
McKay said: “Hotness is great on OnlyFans, but when the hotness pertains to oil companies cooking the planet just to boost their stock price, it (to use a scientific term) sucks.”
Staci Roberts-Steele, a producer at Yellow Dot, added: “We’re always experimenting with fresh ways to talk about climate. So whether it’s comedy, drama or boobs, we’re just putting real facts in front of people who’d never sit through a traditional climate conversation.”
Each episode will be fronted by a different content creator, with other people involved including Eva Oh, Kat Baker, Ivy
Maddox, Sabrina Jade, Rebecca Crow and Lara Knox.
Megan’s episode, titled The Sun Is Daddy, explores “how the sun provides enough free energy each day to power the world many times over, and why greater investment in solar energy is essential if reliance on fossil fuels is to be reduced”.
The other provocative episode titles include Unsafe Words, Dirty Little Secret, Spank Banks, So F****** Hot, Size Queens, Hot Wet Flooding and Oil Kink.
Topics set to be tackled include rising global temperatures, the oil industry, fossil fuel’s impact on extreme weather events, and how major banks have financed fossil fuel projects.
Headline Newds launches on OnlyFans, Instagram and the Yellow Dot YouTube page on from April 7 with new episodes every Tuesday and Thursday.
