Conor Maynard has married his fiancee Kitty Bertrand.
The 33-year-old pop star tied the knot with his partner in a romantic ceremony over the weekend (04-05.04.26) surrounded by their friends and family and he confirmed the happy news by posting a picture from their big day on Instagram.
Alongside a snap of the newlyweds being toasted by their guests, Connor wrote: “We’re married.”
The image showed Kitty wearing a long, white bridal gown and holding a bouquet while her new husband was decked out in a mustard-coloured suit.
Conor later revealed the couple had jetted off to Iceland for their honeymoon, sharing a video from their hotel suite in Reykjavik and writing: “And the honeymoon commences.”
Conor’s brother Jack also shared snaps from the big day online and revealed the couple were married by the singer’s manager George Leighton.
The Sun newspaper revealed details of the couple’s big day ahead of the weekend revealing they had planned a lavish ceremony in the countryside costing £100,000.
A source told the publication: “He’s marrying Kitty this Saturday and they’re both so excited. The venue is a gorgeous manor house in the South of England with incredible grounds.
“It is costing £100k but it’s worth it to tie the knot in front of all his family and friends.”
The pop star previously confirmed the engagement late last year when he took to social media to wish Kitty a happy birthday, writing: “Happy Birthday to my FIANCÉE. I’m ready to take on forever with you.”
The wedding comes after Conor found himself embroiled in a paternity fight with reality TV star Charlotte Chilton, who claimed he had fathered her daughter Penelope after a night of passion.
The singer took two paternity tests and he declared he was happy to “draw a line under this” after the second test result showed he was not the youngster’s dad.
In a message posted on Instagram last year, he wrote: “Today I received the results of a second paternity test, which was requested by Charlotte regarding her baby girl, Penelope.
“As with the last test, this test has confirmed again that I am not Penelope’s father. As Charlotte requested, Penelope’s, Charlotte’s and my DNA were all taken at a Ministry of Justice accredited DNA testing facility that was selected by Charlotte.
“The results are therefore conclusive. This has been difficult for me and my family, and I’m so grateful for everyone’s support. I’m glad we can now finally draw a line under this.”
