Taraji P. Henson responds to fans’ cosmetic surgery suggestion

Taraji P. Henson insisted she has had no cosmetic work done after one of her Instagram followers said she “looks different” in the comments section of her Game 4 NBA Finals post on Wednesday (10.06.26).

Taraji P. Henson has responded to fans who suggested she has had cosmetic surgery.

The 55-year-old actress denied having work done, saying her busy Broadway schedule leaves no time for procedures, after one of Taraji’s Instagram followers said “something looks different”, and another claimed her team “edit some of her pictures”, following her Game 4 NBA Finals post on Wednesday (10.06.26).

Taraji – who is starring in Come and Gone on Broadway – penned in the post’s comments section: “Y’all kill me with this s***.

“I HAVE DONE NOTHING TO MY DAMN FACE. I AM ON BROADWAY!!! LIVE THEATER WHEN THE HELL WOULD I HAVE TIME FOR A SURGERY. JUST STOP THE MADNESS. LIKE FR. (sic)

In the uploads photos, Taraji rocked a denim-on-denim look, styled by Kollin Carter, and posed courtside with rapper RZA, 56, and other pals as they and other spectators watched the New York Knicks beat the San Antonio Spurs 107-106 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The Empire alum captioned the post: “BIG @nyknicks ENERGY. Stepped out last night in all denim and diamonds. It was a moment. What a game!!!

“Styling: @kollincarter. Glam by yours truly (sic).”

In June 2024, Taraji said she has been working hard to transform her figure through a relentless fitness program.

The Hidden Figures star told Entertainment Tonight: “It’s hard. It has been hard, but it’s been something that me and my trainer have been working on for some time.

“I’m ready to transition my body, and I want to see my body look like what I haven’t ever seen it look like before. So we’ve been working really, really, really hard.”

Taraji has been waking up at 4am as part of her new fitness routine.

She shared: “I stripped the weight down, that extra fat. That’s what you have to do in order to build, so we’ve been building.

“I’m sleepy a lot. He had me up this morning at 4am. We started training at 5.30am, but I had to wake up at 4am to be prepared at 5.30am.”
