Thoughtfulness matters more than wealth to the 56-year-old singer, who has been married four times – 52-year-old ex-waiter Ojani Noa (1997-1998), 56-year-old dancer Cris Judd (2001-2003), 57-year-old singer Marc Anthony (2004-2014), and 53-year-old actor Ben Affleck (2022-2025).
The On the Floor hitmaker – who had a romance with former baseball player Alex Rodriguez, 50, from 2017 until 2021 – discussed relationships and the qualities of her dream man during a performance at a Dolce + Gabbana event at Isola Bella in Taormina, Sicily, Italy, on Thursday (16.07.26).
In a video posted on Instagram, Jennifer playfully joked with her backing dancers, telling one male performer: “Fix my hair, OK. Fix my hair.”
She added to the others: “But the rest of you, get out of here. You’re broke. I don’t need you. I don’t need your money. I don’t need your gifts. That’s right.”
Jennifer – who has 18-year-old twins Max and Emme with Marc – embraced her “expensive” reputation, joking that people have viewed her that way for ages.
She laughed: “You know, people look at me, they look at me for years, and they think I’m expensive. You see my sparkly cup. And I am, I am expensive.”
The Office Romance actress added she does not need someone else to give her expensive gifts.
She continued: “I am, but I have my own money. Ladies, am I right? We don’t need anybody to buy us anything. We don’t. We want them to; sometimes that’s nice.”
Although Jennifer admitted that it is “nice” if a man is loaded, thoughtfulness is ultimately what matters most to her in a relationship.
The two-time Grammy nominee said: “But you know what really makes a man attractive? It’s not the watch. It’s not the car. It’s not the private jet. It really isn’t, although that’s nice. It’s nice.
“It’s seeing them make the bed in the morning or wash the dishes for you when you’re tired at night. That’s what’s sexy. Now that’s what I call sexy. Cause ladies, you know, we do all the things. We do all the things.”
Jennifer recently said there is no chance of meeting a man through Instagram or any other social media platform.
Appearing on the June 8 episode of Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the 58-year-old host asked: “Do you check your DMs, Jennifer?”
The Let’s Get Loud performer replied: “No.”
Andy wondered how she would respond if a “hot Spanish footballer” slid into her inbox.
Jennifer said: “I think they would be able to find me, no? If you really wanted to find me, you could find me.”
The Kiss of the Spider Woman star insisted: “You’re not going to find me through Instagram or sliding into my DMs.
“You have to make more of an effort than that.”
