Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks have ‘healed’

Lindsey Buckingham has reconciled his differences with Stevie Nicks.

Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks are “talking all the time now”.

The 76-year-old musician – who was in a relationship with Stevie between 1972 and 1976 – has revealed that he’s managed to rebuild his friendship with his Fleetwood Mac bandmate.

Lindsey told E! News: “Fleetwood Mac has been working on a documentary. I think the process of making that has been a very circular healing process for all of us.

“What it has done, which is the most important thing … we had left things in 2019, maybe as far as I was concerned, not in a very good place for all the wrong reasons. No one was happy about it, and all of that has been healed and worked out.”

The reunion might one day lead to further touring – but Lindsey is more concerned by the peace they’ve managed to find in recent times.

Lindsey also confirmed that he’s rebuilt his relationship with his ex-partner.

He shared: “Stevie and I are talking all the time now.”

Last year, Mick Fleetwood revealed that he wanted Stevie and Lindsey to put their differences aside.

The 79-year-old musician explained that he wanted to see his Fleetwood Mac bandmates “pal up a bit more and just say everything’s OK”.

Mick – who co-founded the iconic rock band in the 1960s – told Us Weekly: “I always have a fantasy that [Stevie] and Lindsey would pal up a bit more and just say everything’s OK for them both. But we’ve had such an incredible career.”

Mick planned to reunite the band before Christine McVie passed away in November 2022, aged 79. But the veteran musician admitted that he “struggled” to find a sense of direction after Christine’s passing.

Mick shared: “I miss playing as much as we used to. I’m hoping next year, one way or another, some band somewhere will say, come and play with drums or something.

“So I always love to do whatever I can do working on an album that next year we may tour with it. I don’t know, [but] not Fleetwood Mac.”
