Paris Jackson hits back at troll over ‘dirty’ tattoo comment

Paris Jackson has hit back at a troll saying her tattoos make her look “dirty”.

The 28-year-old daughter of the late Michael Jackson was quick to respond to the person, who commented on an Instagram post shared by E! News featuring a picture of the inking she has down the centre of her chest.

In the comments section of the post, which was about Paris meeting her mother for the first time, the critic wrote: “She is gorgeous, but those tattoos just make her look dirty and takes away from her look.”

Responding, Paris quipped: “Oh no what ever will i do (i’m dirty even without the tattoos).”

The person then replied: “@parisjackson like I said you’re gorgeous and it takes away. Why did you mess with perfection, you don’t mark up something perfect.”

Paris hasn’t revealed the exact number of tattoos she has, but it’s believed to be around the 80 mark.

She also likes mixing things up by covering her inkings on occasion, such as when she attended the Grammy Awards in 2024.

Paris looked stunning on the red carpet in a black Celine dress, and told Entertainment Tonight it had taken a “few hours” to cover up all the etchings.

She explained: “Well, I like switching things up. I love my tattoos, I love my piercings, I love all the body modification stuff, art, and also sometimes I don’t want it to distract from the art that is the fashion I’m wearing.

“And it gives the dress its own moment, you know?”

By the tender age of 18, Paris had already accrued more than 20 tattoos, and responded to critics at the time: “Some people like them, some people absolutely hate them. I appreciate art . . . especially when that art means something to me.”

And she added to Glamour magazine that her love of inkings started at a very young age.

Paris said: “I’ve always been interested in [tattoos]. I used to get uniform violations in school – I was probably 13 or 14 – because I used to write all over myself with a permanent marker.”

Among her inkings are several “friendship tattoos”, which she has with “at least 10 people”, and numerous tattoo dedications to her late dad.
