Kelly Osbourne has paid tribute to son Sidney in a heartfelt Instagram post, thanking him for “giving purpose” to her life.
The 41-year-old shares the three-year-old with ex Sid Wilson, and has previously said that the tot has helped her tremendously following the death of her father, Black Sabbath star Ozzy, in June 2025.
She took to the social media site to post a series of cute snaps with her little boy, as she wrote: “There are loves you experience in life, and then there is the love you have for your child. A love so deep it becomes part of your bones.
“My son, loving you has been the greatest privilege of my life. I love you in the quiet moments, in the laughter that made our stomachs hurt, in the kisses and cuddles, in the silliness, and in every ordinary little moment I never knew would become so precious.”
Kelly went on to say that Sidney has “made my world bigger simply by being in it”, adding, “You taught me a kind of love I didn’t know existed.
“True unconditional, instinctive, endless. The kind of love that asks for nothing and would give absolutely everything.”
She said that she would want to keep “every kiss, every laugh, every time I held you close and every time you reached for me” in a place “untouched by time” if she could.
Kelly continued to say: “No photograph could ever hold the amount of love I have for you, but these come close to capturing what it feels like! You and me, completely wrapped up in each other. We are a team!
“I love being your safe place. I love being the arms you can fall into. I love making you laugh. I love your little hands on my face. I love us.”
Concluding, Kelly called Sidney “my beautiful boy, my heart outside my body, my greatest love”, and said: “Out of all the things I have been in this lifetime, being your mum will forever be the most beautiful part of me. You gave me purpose.
“I love you from the moment I new you were growing in my belly. I love you now. I will love you beyond every measure of time. Always.”
Kelly’s post quickly attracted comments, with one writing: “One of my favourite quotes about being a mum ‘Making the decision to have a child – it is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body’.”
Another added: “Beautiful words @kellyosbourne these photos are so sweet and precious – you’re a wonderful mum.”
As a third said: “Beautiful, Kelly. Being the mother of a little boy is so special. Cherish these times you can still hold him in your arms. My baby is now 13 and it goes so, so fast.”
