Gigi Hadid’s relationship with Bradley Cooper is “so different” to anything she’s had before.

The 31-year-old model – who has five-year-old daughter Khai with former partner Zayn Malik – has been dating the Hangover actor for three years and she loves how “honest” they can be with one another.

She told France’s Vogue magazine: “What’s beautiful about my current relationship, and so different from what I’ve experienced before, is the ability to be deeply honest. To say what we think, when we think it.”

Noting it isn’t always easy, she added: “But if it’s impossible, it probably means it’s not the right person.”

The Guest in Residence founder and her 51-year-old boyfriend – who has daughter Lea, nine, with ex-girfriend Irina Shayk – often discuss work with one another, even if they don’t always understand their respective situations.

Gigi said: “We don’t necessarily understand all the intricacies of each other’s work, but the most important thing is having someone who supports you—and helps you stay grounded.”

Bradley has given Gigi a better appreciation of Paris and she could even see herself living in France one day.

She said: “For a long time, Paris was a city of work. I’d land there, rush to a hotel where twenty photographers were waiting for me—no walking around was possible—then I’d be in a car to a windowless studio.

“But recently, thanks to my boyfriend who loves France and speaks French, I’ve discovered a completely different Paris that I adore. So, at some point, why not settle there, yes…”

The blonde beauty couldn’t be happier with her life right now.

She said: “Right now, my friends are saying to me, ‘Gigi, what’s going on? You seem 19 again.’ I think I’m just… serene.”

When she isn’t working, Gigi loves nothing more than being at home with her loved ones.

She said: “Living in the countryside surrounded by animals, with my daughter, my partner, my friends, is part of what recharges me. It allows me to appreciate the richness of fashion when I return to it. The artisans, the fabrics, the beads – the human and artistic aspect. Not just the surface.”

Asked the last thing that made her smile, she added: “My daughter. Just being in the car with her, singing a nursery rhyme I used to sing when I was her age… It makes me cry. But they’re tears of joy.”
