The 53-year-old reality star has been battling health issues, including a benign tumour in a lymph node in her face, in recent times, and the medications and treatments she has been receiving have impacted on her appetite.
Speaking in an Instagram video, in which she prepared her ITV infusions including Imipenum – an antibiotic used to help treat bacterial infections – she said: “I know I’m so skinny right now. I can’t eat because the things I do … decreases my food. I feel like death. I look like death. , “I just finished this IV, it’s Imipenum. It’s on a pump. I had to learn to do all these with the nurse. Now she comes four hours a day in the evenings to do my other IV but I have to do this IV before she comes for the 4-hour IV, and then I start this at 4 o’clock, the Imipenum, and I have that overnight. 18 hours a day. It’s a lot of setup.”
Brandi admitted she is still “not ready to share” all of the details of her medical woes but wanted to give fans a glimpse of how tough things have been.
She captioned the footage: “For the first time, I’m showing you what my life has really looked like behind closed doors. The treatments. The IVs. The exhaustion. The days nobody saw.
“I haven’t been ready to talk about all of it publicly, and there’s still a lot I’m not ready to share yet. This is only one minute of a much bigger story.”
In June, Brandi revealed a tumour had been discovered in her face.
Speaking on her own Brandi Glanville Unfiltered podcast, she said: “I found out I have a benign tumour in one of my lymph nodes in my face.
“That could be why the fluid is going around my face and why I’m having a hard time… I can wear make-up for, like, 15 minutes and then I have to take it off.”
Brandi has previously wondered if what she had thought was a facial parasite was due to her breast implants rupturing and spreading infection through her body, while doctors have claimed it’s “just scar tissue”.
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has pointed out she hasn’t “had a facelift yet”, but now she might have more answers.
She went to see a dermatologist specialising in cancer after finding a lump near her jaw.
She revealed: “He did a blood test and it came back on the blood test.
“And like I’m thinking I’ve had so many labs done… I’m talking tens of thousands of dollars in labs.
“Why would this lab just now show this? I can tell you that this lump has always been here.”
Brandi previously insisted she felt she had “lost everything” because of her health struggles.
Speaking earlier this year, she said on the I Do, Part 2 podcast: “I haven’t had sex in three years, the whole time I’ve been sick, because I lost my confidence.
“I feel like I lost everything at once. I lost my job. I lost my reputation. I lost my looks.”
