The couple have been dating for around a year but hypnotherapist Jim, 50, admitted he didn’t think he would find love again before he met Jennifer, 57.
He told The Sunday Times Magazine: “There was a many-month friendship first.
“The drive was more natural, more organic, less needy. In the past I’ve felt this idea of, ‘I need you to be in love with me …’ I wasn’t searching for love any more.
“And what do I feel now? I feel real joy, real presence, real calmness, real partnership.”
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Jennifer and Jim are in no rush to get married.
Although former Friends actress Jennifer and hypnotist and life coach Jim have become more open about their relationship, insiders have revealed the pair are happy to take their relationship at a slower pace.
A source told Us Weekly: “They are allowing the relationship to develop at its own pace and are much stronger, more positive and more confident that their lifestyles and priorities are compatible [than they were a year ago]. They have had conversations about their long-term future. They are enjoying the moment. Neither feels the need to force a timeline.”
However, things are serious between the couple and Jennifer has gotten to know Jim’s son, who he shares with his ex-wife Rachel Napolitano.
The insider added: “Jen has met his son, and she thinks he’s great. They are focused on building a lasting partnership. They both do feel they found the person who understands them. It just works.”
And, while both Jennifer – who was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005 and to Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2018 – and Jim are open to getting married again, neither want a big wedding.
The source said: “She’s even open to the idea of doing something really low-key, like eloping.”
