Criminal Minds actor Shemar Moore has undergone three surgeries in a bid to fix his “ugly ass feet”, after he used to dig his trotters into sand to hide them from people during beach walks.

The 56-year-old star told how he had suffered from a bunion on his trotters, and he doesn’t like to let his paws “see the light of day”.
After joking that fans might unfollow him if they knew about his “ugly ass feet”, he said on The Jennifer Hudson Show: “I got these eyebrows, I paid a lot of money for these teeth, so I got a big ol’ smile. I try to do a couple of sit-ups so I can lift that shirt.
“But the lower we go, we get to around my ankles and just below my ankles ain’t no tan … ’cause [his feet] ain’t see the light of day.
“I had that bunion thing, that whole bump on the side, so I’d put on my little nice clothes and then I’d put on fresh-out-the-box dress shoes and you take them off and you didn’t know which was the left one, which was the right one.”
Shemar used to feel so self-conscious about his feet while walking on the beach that he would dig his tootsies into the sand to avoid people spotting his paws.
The S.W.A.T star added: “I can walk by the pool and go on the beach.
“I used to walk on the beach, no joke, when I was modelling.
“When people got too close to me, you wouldn’t notice it, but I’d dig my feet in the sand.”
However, the Criminal Minds actor insisted his feet are now “presentable”.
In 2023, he took to Instagram to thank Dr. Robert J. Joseph for turning him into a “future foot model” after he underwent surgery on his trotters.
Shemar posted: “THANK YOU DR J aka Dr Joseph @lapodiatrist for turning me into a future Foot Model… Dr J is THE TRUTH!! Homies, Fans, and Baby Girls… FROM THE ANKLES UP I’M A BAAAAAAD MAN!! I just never let you see my feet.”
In the Reel, Shemar – whose foot was in a bandage – told how Dr J is a “magician” who “knows his s**t”.
