Snooki opened up to Kristin Cavallari on her Let’s Be Honest podcast, with the host asking if there’s a secret behind the marriage standing the test of time
The 38-year-old then guffawed, before then saying: “Marriage isn’t easy. And I feel at this point like we’re siblings. We get so annoyed with each other that I’m like ;you need to go over there, and I’ll go over here’, and then we’re fine. And then we’ll go on a date night and be nice and then the next day… it’s like siblings. So I feel like we’re at that old marriage stage.”
Kristin remarked that Snooki and Jionni always seem like “buddies” before anything else, to which Snooki confirmed that they “do enjoy each other”.
She also said they thave a great “balance” – which is another reason their marriage works so well
Snooki explained” “I feel like we’re great with the kids and have a great schedule,
`Sp when I have to work and I have to go somewhere, he’s with the kids. I don’t have a nanny, I don’t have a babysitter, it’s all Jionni.
“And then when I’m at home and he wants to go to golf, I’m like, ‘Yeah, go’ because I’ve just been away for two days. Sop we have a great balance.”
She was quickly praised for her honesty in the comments section of an Instagram clip of the interview, with one person writing: “I love the honesty of this human being genuine self caring so loving so real like she says just keeping it real…”
As another added: “I’ve been married 39 years. For Snooki to already understand marriage at 11 years says a lot. You’re right you’re like siblings. Insanity is what it is. Love Snooki!”
