Hilary Duff reveals her ‘spiciest night’ getting revenge on boy ‘doing her friend dirty’

Hilary Duff and her friends didn’t hold back after “this guy was doing her friend real dirty”.

Hilary Duff and her friends dumped “wieners and tuna” onto the front lawn of a boy doing their pal “dirty”.

The 39-year-old star has recalled her “spiciest night” from her “late teen-hood” long before she became a mother, when she and her friends stood up for one of their own in a brutal way.

Speaking on Billboard’s Take Me Out series, she was asked for her “spiciest” memory with friends.

She said: “I’m like, spicy. My spiciest night is kind of evil and a long time ago, pre-children.

“This guy was doing my friend real dirty and we were hitting the bottle.

“We were spicy and we went and bought the cheapest, grossest can of wieners and tuna and we just had a little field day on his front lawn.”

The singer and Lizzie McGuire actress recently revealed how a fear of failure delayed her recent musical comeback for “quite some time”.

She has enjoyed a resurgence in popularity this year, thanks to her worldwide tour and new album luck… or something.

Asked if she had any doubt about a second stab at success, Hilary told Paper magazine: “Of course. I think everyone feels this as they age. It’s harder and harder to do risky things.

“Then add on being a public figure, being so magnified by the internet. Failing is so public now. I think it held me back for quite some time from making any kind of music industry moves.”

However, Hilary credited her husband Matt Koma, the father of her three daughters, for helping her realise it was actually the perfect time to get back out there.

She mused: “I think the safety net of the family I’ve created, my husband, the partner I chose, and feeling really safe and fulfilled at home, made this feel like if it didn’t work, it didn’t matter. I never felt that before.

“Matt has been in the industry since he was 14 years old, and he’s just a really smart guy. I got to bounce every single one of my ideas off of him.

“He believes in me more than I believe in myself, and he can see things I have blind spots for.”
