Sophia Bush feels ‘very blessed’ after being evacuated

Sophia Bush has revealed that she’s been evacuated from her home in Los Angeles.

Sophia Bush feels “very, very blessed” to have survived the Los Angeles wildfires.

The 42-year-old actress and her family members have been evacuated from their homes in the area, after the wildfires caused devastation in parts of the city, and Sophia has now taken to social media to reflect on her experience.

The actress – who is best known for playing Brooke Davis in ‘One Tree Hill’ – wrote on Instagram: “Thank you all for the check-ins, texts, the DMs. I know it’s really intense when you don’t hear from people. We’re all really trying our best. These last two days have been absolutely horrific for our city. My family’s been evacuated twice. We are all safe, so I feel very, very blessed. (sic)”

Sophia described the current situation as “unfathomable and inexplicable”.

She said: “So many people have lost so much and it’s pretty unimaginable, unfathomable and inexplicable.”

Meanwhile, Sophia has shared a resource to help Los Angeles residents amid the wildfires.

The actress explained that her ultimate ambition is to “help the helpers” during the ongoing disaster.

She wrote on Instagram: “When tragedy hits, help the helpers. This devastation is absolutely heartbreaking. It is actually unfashionable. I am praying for our incredible city and her people. Check on yours. Check on your neighbors. And lend a hand in whatever way you can. Here are some ways! #repost from @jessicamalatyrivera:

“MALAN has put together a Google sheet with mutual aid resources for folks affected by the fires in Los Angeles.

“You can view it at: tiny.cc/malan-fire

“We will continue to update it with information shared here, and will also update information regarding volunteer and donation needs as it becomes available.

“Please share widely! #mutualaid (sic)”
