Kim Kardashian was “so nervous” when she went on a date with Janet Jackson’s nephew.
The 43-year-old reality superstar had a brief relationship with TJ Jackson in the years before she and her family found worldwide fame, but was so wary because the legendary singer means “so much” to her.
Speaking on ‘The Kardashians’, she said: “Janet means so much to me, more on like a personal level, than anyone could really imagine.
“I dated Janet’s nephew for years and years in high school.
“One time, the entire Jackson family and me are playing Pictionary. I was so nervous, because Janet was like, my everything.”
The SKIMS founder even recalled that she had misspelled the word “angel” during the board game, but the Jackson family let her have the point anyway.
She added: “Jermaine came up to me afterwards, and was like, ‘Baby girl, the word was ‘angel,’ but I felt so bad for you that we’re gonna let you have this point.
“I wanted to melt. So she’s will always be my angle. My little angle.”
In 2021, Kim revealed that she had bid $250,000 for the chance to win Janet’s outfit from her music video for ‘If’ – which was released in 1993 – and was left shocked when she reigned supreme in the auction.
She wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time: “For @janetjackson’s bday bc I’m such a fan I can’t believe I won this on @juliens_auctions.”
Kim was initially married to Damon Thomas from 2000 until 2004 and was then married to Kris Humphries for a period of 72 days in 2011.
In 2014, she tied the knot with Kanye West and went on to have North, 11, Saint, nine, Chicago, seven, and five-year-old Psalm with him but they split in 2022.
Following that, she dated ‘Saturday Night Live’ star Pete Davidson for a period of time and was thought to be single up until recently when she hinted that she was looking for love again.
She said: “I used to say, ‘OK, I wanna be single for two years and blah, blah, blah.
“And that sounded great. Me not dating and not wanting love and attention? I don’t think you know me.”
