Samsung named top soundbar brand for 11th consecutive year

Samsung has topped soundbar global sales for the 11th time in a row.

Samsung has topped soundbar global sales for the 11th consecutive year.

The South Korean tech giant got a reported global market share of 20.1 per cent in revenue and 18.4 per cent in sales volume last year.

Building on its success, bosses hope to “push innovation forward” to create an “even more seamless and immersive” audio experience.

This year’s 2025 soundbar lineup features artificial intelligence-enhanced surround sound, refined audio processing and an improvement in its connectivity abilities.

It comes off the back of the well-received HW-Q990D model, which was launched in 2024.

The model offers Q-Symphony technology – which synchronises Samsung TVs and audio from its soundbars – “that enhances synergy between the soundbar and Samsung TVs”, as well as AI-powered audio optimisation features.

Hun Lee, executive vice president of visual display business at Samsung Electronics, said: “We’re proud to be recognized as the global leader in soundbars for 11 consecutive years and believe this honor is a testament to our commitment to delivering premium audio experiences.

“We will continue to push innovation forward, enhancing both sound quality and usability to create an even more seamless and immersive home entertainment experience …

“With AI-driven sound quality and seamless TV integration, Samsung soundbars continue to set the benchmark for home entertainment.”
