Nick Cannon lights candle in memory of late son Zen on fourth birthday

Nick Cannon said his late son’s “light continues to inspire others” through Zen’s Light Foundation.

Nick Cannon has honoured the memory of his late son Zen on what would have been his fourth birthday (23.06.25).

The Masked Singer host’s little boy tragically died aged five months in 2021, following a battle with brain cancer, and on what would have been his first birthday, Nick and Zen’s mom, Alyssa Scott, launched Zen’s Light Foundation.

The venture backs research and provides resources for families facing pediatric cancer, and promotes healing through remembrance.

This year, they have introduced Zen’s Light: A Celebration of Life Candle, with money raised from each candle set to benefit families supporting children with cancer and other serious illnesses.

Nick captioned a clip of him lighting a candle in memory of his little boy and visiting a hospital: “Today, we celebrate what would have been my son Zen’s fourth birthday. Though he was with us for a brief time, his light continues to inspire others through the work of the Zen’s Light Foundation.”

He continued: “In honor of Zen, I’m proud to announce that we’re partnering with ReisFields to launch the ‘Zen’s Light: A Celebration of Life Candle.’ Every purchase goes directly to supporting families affected by childhood cancer and other diseases.

Join me in remembering Zen today and helping us bring comfort and hope to those in need. Thank you for keeping his spirit alive purchase a candle today at www.zenslightfoundation.org.”
