Tori Spelling reveals Dean McDermott once called her Donna Martin

Dean McDermott has shared intimate details of her sex life with Dean McDermott, her ex-husband.

Dean McDermott once called out the name of Tori Spelling’s Beverly Hills, 90210 character during an intimate moment.

The 52-year-old actress played Donna Martin on the hit TV show between 1990 and 2000, and Tori has revealed that her ex-husband was a fan of her on-screen character.

Asked if she’s ever role-played as Donna during an intimate scenario, Tori said on the MisSpelling podcast: “I haven’t been with that many people, and I’ve been in mostly long-term relationships. No. But I … that would creep me out. I don’t know.

“If I was intimate with a man and he was like, ‘Will you role play? Will you act like Donna Martin?’ That would really creep me out.”

Despite this, Tori subsequently noted that Dean had a “big crush” on her from her time on Beverly Hills, 90210.

She explained: “Dean, my ex, when we met, he was telling me that he had a big crush on me and that and he would always have his hockey game with all his buddies on Wednesday night, and he would always get out of there early.

“They’d be in the locker room, ‘You gotta go home and see your girlfriend.’ And he was like, ‘Yeah. No shame. I’m going home. I’m a guy. I’m watching 90210. I have a crush on Tori Spelling.'”

The actress then recalled one particularly awkward moment with her ex-husband.

Tori – who was married to Dean between 2006 and 2024 – shared: “I always thought I was like, ‘Are you just making that up to get with me?’ But, no. At some point during one of our sessions, during sex, [he] said, ‘Oh, my little Donna Martin.’

“I might have giggled back like Donna.”

Meanwhile, Tori previously claimed that she wishes her sex tape had leaked.

The TV star and her ex-husband once filmed themselves during an intimate moment and the footage almost went public.

She said on her MisSpelling podcast: “[He] had it on our computer at home, and a friend he thought was a friend stayed at our house while we took the kids to Hawaii. Anyway, [the friend] took the computer and tried to sell [the tape] to Vivid Video.

“They actually contacted us and said, ‘We want to let you know we didn’t accept it’. I said, ‘Why? Were my angles not good?’

“So we had to get a restraining order on this guy.”
