Music star Lewis Capaldi has shared his unusual sleeping trick.
Lewis Capaldi listens to Eminem’s music to help him sleep.
The 28-year-old singer has revealed that he enjoys listening to the chart-topping rap star before he sleeps on a flight.
Lewis told Apple Music: “If I’m going to fall asleep, especially on a plane, I put on Eminem because I feel like it really puts me at ease.”
Lewis finds Eminem’s music and his own demos to be really soothing.
He said: “I listen to a lot of the older stuff like The Marshall Mathers LP and The Eminem Show – for some reason it lulls me into a delightful little sleep.
“Or I’ll put on some of my own demos which also really knock me out.”
Meanwhile, Lewis recently revealed that he’ll “always be an anxious person”.
The singer has stopped using anti-depressants and is now feeling the “best [he’s] felt in a long time” – but Lewis is convinced that he’ll always struggle with anxiety.
The Someone You Loved hitmaker said on a livestream: “I’m not on antidepressants anymore.
“It was f****** hard to get off it. You could say I survived getting off Sertraline but let’s not get into that.
“This is happy stuff, I’m trying to share less.”
Lewis admits that therapy has transformed his life.
The pop star said: “I’ve felt the best I’ve felt in a long time through therapy.
“I think I will always be an anxious person, accepting that’s always going to be there for me is a big thing. It’s about how I respond to anxiety.”
Lewis recently acknowledged that therapy has played a “massive part” in his musical comeback.
The singer performed on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury, two years after he was forced to end his set early amid his struggles with Tourette syndrome, and Lewis conceded that therapy has changed his life.
In a video chat with BetterHelp, he explained: “Therapy is the reason why I am able to be a musician again. I don’t think I’ll ever stop going to therapy after the impact it’s had on my life over the past two years.”
