Audrina Patridge claims her ex Corey Bohan rarely sees their daughter.
The 40-year-old reality TV star filed for divorce from Corey just 10 months after their 2016 nuptials, when daughter Kirra, nine, was a baby, and she admitted Kirra struggled a bit when Audrina first introduced her to her current boyfriend Michael Ray.
Speaking on the Pie podcast with Kurt Sutter and Katey Sagal, she explained: “In the beginning, she was so used to only me and not sharing me.”
When Katey asked if her father was in the picture, Audrina replied: “That’s a whole [other] complicated thing. But no. She doesn’t really see him once in a great while. But not much.
“Michael’s been like more of a father figure to her than she’s ever had. And she respects him and admires him.”
Audrina and Michael made their relationship official in July 2024 and she introduced him to Kirra after they had been dating for “about six months”.
Following her split from Corey, Audrina was awarded primary custody and Bohan was granted visitation rights.
They also went to mediation to establish a coparenting plan.
Speaking about the marriage in 2022, she told Us Weekly: “It’s not a secret that our relationship was toxic. [The divorce was a] pivotal moment in my life.
“It was such a turning point that that’s something that I couldn’t just leave out and pretend it never happened. Because it did change me for better and it made me stronger.
“I try to keep it strictly just about my daughter. It’s almost like business. Like, I only respond or write to him on the Talking Parents app, if it’s about our daughter and that’s it.”
