Sony’s next PlayStation State of Play airing TODAY with Saros extended look confirmed

Sony has announced its next PlayStation State of Play for today (24.09.25) – with Housemarque’s Saros set to receive a gameplay segment.

Sony has announced its next PlayStation State of Play for today (24.09.25).

The showcase will run for roughly 35 minutes, and will begin at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 10pm BST / 11pm CEST on YouTube and Twitch in English (with Japanese subtitles available).

PlayStation teased the presentation will offer “new looks at anticipated third-party and indie titles, plus updates from some of our teams at PlayStation Studios – including an extended look at Saros, Housemarque’s mysterious new title arriving next year”.

As well as Saros, other upcoming titles that could appear at State of Play include Insomniac Games’ Wolverine and Naughty Dog’s Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.

Saros – which is expected to launch in 2026 – was unveiled in February, and stars The Fall of the House of Usher’s Rahul Kohli in the leading role.

In a statement, Housemarque’s Creative Director Gregory Louden said: “Saros is an action game with the haunting story of a lost off-world colony on Carcosa under an ominous eclipse.

“You play as Arjun Devraj, a powerful Soltari Enforcer who will stop at nothing to find who he is looking for.

“Our goal is to create an emotional and powerful character study that explores the cost it takes to create a new future.

“Arjun is performed by Rahul Kohli. Rahul is truly bringing Arjun to life in a stunning performance. He has been a brilliant collaborator to tell our story and champion for the game.

“He is also not alone on Carcosa, and we will reveal more of our fantastic ensemble npc cast and story information ahead.”
