Peter Andre’s “biggest fear” was that he wouldn’t like his children’s partners so he’s relieved that hasn’t been the case.
Peter Andre’s “biggest fear” was that he wouldn’t like his children’s partners.
The Mysterious girl singer is thankful Junior, 20, and 18-year-old Princess – who he has with ex-wife Katie Price – were very “easy teenagers” and he’s particularly relieved he has bonded with both his son’s girlfriend Jasmine Orr and his daughter’s previous boyfriend.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: “Do you know what, I have to say, the biggest fear, I think for me, when they were growing up and people don’t know what teenagers are like.
“I found them easy teenagers but the problem is – it’s not with those two – but the problem for parents, what I find is when they have a partner, you either like the partner or you push them away.
“Thankfully, I liked Princess’ boyfriend and thankfully, I love both of them, I loved Princess’ previous boyfriend when she had one – and Jasmine, we love her, thank God. They’re dream teenagers now.”
Peter – who also has Amelia, 11, nine-year-old Theo and 18-month-old Arabella with wife Emily – admitted having adult children makes him feel “old”.
Asked how he feels about his kids being grown-up, he laughed at the launch of Boots presents Glide at Battersea Power Station on Thursday (06.11.25) night: “Yes, I am old, I’m 52, hello? You know what, I was on the ice rink and someone’s going, ‘Aren’t you a bit old for this?’ And I was like ‘Ha – I got this’ but inside I was shaking.”
Peter was thrilled to be with his wife and three of his children, except Princess and Arabella, at the ice rink launch.
He said: “It’s rare that we all get to do stuff like this together, timing-wise, honestly it was so nice, and Junior just came as we’re about to go, I feel so bad but these have school tomorrow. I love to see him and Jasmine on the ice.”
But while he praised wife Emily as “the best”, he admitted there’s a disagreement with the doctor on the horizon over their Christmas decorations.
He said: “Emily’s like, ‘We should put the Christmas tree up next week’ and I’m like, ‘No, too early.’ So this might be a disagreement over the next few weeks, when to put the Christmas tree up. I think December 1, she thinks mid-November, so watch this space.”
