Demi Moore has revealed her ex-husband Bruce Willis is a huge fan of Neil Diamond and used to hold “Neil Diamond days” during their marriage.

The Substance star opened up about her former partner’s love of the singer’s music during an appearance at a screening of Kate Hudson and Hugh Jackman’s new Diamond-based movie Song Sung Blue in Los Angeles on Wednesday (07.01.26) – revealing Willis used to regularly blast out Diamond’s hits.
According to The Daily Mail newspaper, Demi said: “On a personal note, Bruce loved Neil Diamond. When we first together, one day he blasted Neil Diamond. I’m like: ‘What are you doing?’ He said: ‘It’s Neil Diamond day!’
“And he played Neil throughout the day. He kept on doing that for years. He was a huge Neil fan. And so am I!”
Demi made the revelation during a chat with Song Sung Blue star Kate at the Soho House screening for a star-studded audience which included Leonardo DiCaprio and Al Pacino.
Demi was married to the Die Hard star from 1987 until 2000 and they are parents to three grown-up daughters, Rumer, 37, Scout, 34, and 31-year-old Tallulah.
Bruce went on to marry Emma Heming and they are parents to daughters, Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11.
The actor has retired from Hollywood as he battles frontotemporal dementia, and Emma has been open about how their lives have changed since the devastating diagnosis.
She recently explained that the Christmas season is challenging because Bruce loved being at the “centre” of the celebrations in the past.
She wrote in an essay on her website: “For me, the holidays carry memories of Bruce being at the centre of it all.
“He loved this time of year – the energy, family time, the traditions. He was the pancake-maker, the get-out-in-the-snow-with-the-kids guy, the steady presence moving through the house as the day unfolded.
“There was comfort in the routine of knowing exactly how the day would go. Dementia doesn’t erase those memories (but) it does create space between then and now. And that space can ache.”
While she has to deal with “grief” hitting her in different ways, she has also learnt to “adapt” the family’s celebrations.
She explained: “This holiday season, our family will still unwrap gifts and sit together at breakfast. But instead of Bruce making our favourite pancakes, I will.
“We’ll put on a holiday movie. There will be laughter and cuddles. And there will almost certainly be tears because we can grieve and make room for joy.”
