Timothée Chalamet has increased his security for awards season.

The 30-year-old actor was surrounded by three security guards at the Critics’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles last week and plans to maintain the increased security presence for the remainder of awards season.

A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Timothée’s popularity has skyrocketed in recent months following his role in Marty Supreme and his portrayal of folk legend Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown.

“He is also in the spotlight for his high-profile relationship with Kylie Jenner who has millions of followers on Instagram.

“Timothée is taking no chances during awards season and is ensuring that he is protected by the best in the business.”

Meanwhile, Timothée paid a gushing tribute to Kylie after winning Best Actor for his role in Marty Supreme at the Critics’ Choice Awards.

He said in his acceptance speech: “Thank you to my partner of three years Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

In the audience, Kylie, 28, could be seen mouthing back: “I love you, too.”

The romantic moment came after the couple had kissed when it was announced Chalamet had scored victory.

While Timothée has upped security in public, Kylie – who has had issues with stalkers in the past -previously spent half a million dollars on security measures at her Los Angeles mansion.

The 27-year-old reality TV star – who shares daughter Stormi, seven, and son Aire, three, with former partner Travis Scott – spent the huge sum on olive trees to ensure privacy at her Calabasas home, according to the US Sun.
