Maisie Peters’ new album features Julia Michaels and Marcus Mumford

Maisie Peters has announced his third studio album and a theatre tour.

Maisie Peters has confirmed details of her third studio album, Florescence, set for release on May 15.

The project sees the 25-year-old singer step into co‑producer territory for the first time, working alongside two‑time Grammy winner Ian Fitchuk (Kacey Musgraves, Beyoncé, Chris Stapleton). The record also features collaborations with Julia Michaels and Marcus Mumford, and arrives with a new trailer directed by Chicken Shop Date star Amelia Dimoldenberg.

The announcement comes after a relentless few years for Peters, who has barely stopped touring since her breakthrough. She’s opened for Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Conan Gray and Noah Kahan, headlined her own global dates, and made her Glastonbury debut — all before hitting a wall at the end of 2024. The workload left her burnt out, prompting her to step away from the spotlight and return home. That break ended up shaping the direction of Florescence.

Peters headed to Nashville to write and record much of the album, reuniting with Fitchuk, whom she first collaborated with in 2020.

The album reflects on the fallout from the relationship documented on its predecessor, 2023’s The Good Witch, as well as the new relationship she’s now in after reconnecting with her high‑school sweetheart.

She said: “These 15 tracks depict a blossoming of myself from ages 23 to 25 and a blossoming of a true, real love that anchors both me and this record. It tells the story of the last few long winters, with all of their villains and thorns, heartbreaks and rains, and it leads you, by the end, into a perfect English spring, into the hope and catharsis that comes when the first wildflower blooms.

“This album feels like a true representation of healing, of finding hope, peace, and strength not just in somebody else, but in yourself. It is knowing that there was a point to all the sadness of before, and the point is the woman you see in this mirror now, and the person you see by her side.”

Following two intimate, sold‑out shows in London and New York, Peters has also announced a new global theatre run, Before The Bloom. The tour begins on March 2 in Sydney before heading across Australia, East Asia, Europe, the UK, the US and Canada. A donation of £1.20 (or local equivalent) from each ticket will support organisations working on equity and access via PLUS1.

Peters will preview the collection with the new single My Regards on February 6.
