Kerry Katona ‘cried like a baby’ as she let go of her ‘trauma’ at a plant medicine retreat

TV star Kerry Katona feels like a “new person” after she “cried like a baby” while letting go of her “trauma” at a plant medicine retreat in Marbella, and she admitted the trip has further tempted her to relocate her family to Spain.

Kerry Katona “cried like a baby” as she let go of her “trauma” at a plant medicine retreat.

The 45-year-old reality TV star feels like a “new person” after visiting the Marbella-based retreat alongside her boyfriend Paolo Margaglione, and she was keen to extend their stay.

She wrote in her new! magazine column: “I felt so blissful after going to a plant medicine retreat with Paolo at Conscious Hub in Marbella.

“I feel like it really helped get rid of my anxiety.

“We meditated, did an exercise where we shared our intentions and then did breathwork – and I cried like a baby.

“It was a brilliant way to help me let go of my trauma.

“I woke up feeling like a new person.

“I was tempted to ship the kids over to Spain – I didn’t want to come back.”

Kerry reiterated she could make a move to Spain, as she revealed her 11-year-old daughter, Dylan-Jorge, who is known as DJ, has started a new school 40 minutes away from their home.

The Atomic Kitten star added: “She left her old school on Friday and started her new one on Monday.

“The only thing is, the new school’s about a 40-minute drive from where we live.

“So I’m wondering whether to rent for a little bit near her school, because otherwise it’s going to be a two-hour round trip every day.

“It’s a case of working out what’s right for everyone.

“But being in the sun and near the sea last week is tempting me over to Spain!”

Earlier this month, Kerry hinted she might relocate her family to Spain.

She wrote: “I recently got a message announcing they are shutting DJ’s school down in July. Molly, Lilly and Heidi all went to that school, so I am truly gutted.

“Now we’re running around trying to get her into a different school, but they favour pupils who already have siblings who attend, so DJ’s been put on a waiting list.

“I’m in touch with another school but we keep missing each other, so I’m wondering if this is a sign to up and leave to Spain and start fresh…”
