The 53-year-old Hollywood actress has revealed she tries to share vintage pieces from her own wardrobe with her youngest child, who spends a lot of time scouring secondhand shops looking for “grungy clothes” and she’s “happy” she kept some clothes and accessories from the decade all these years.
Leslie told PEOPLE magazine: “Iris, who is 23, is obsessed with the ’90s and Carolyn Bessette Kennedy and they buy all of their clothes, like secondhand clothes, that look like ’90s clothes, and I still have some stuff that I share with her …
“Like grungy clothes, you know, like the long, the like, thermal tops, the thermal tops with the flowers that are cropped. Dickies, and, like weird shoes that I still have. She loves all of my old stuff. It’s so nice that I know, I’m happy I kept some of it.”
The 40-Year-Old Virgin star went on to reveal she recently found a bottle of Child perfume which she used to wear back in the 1990s so she bought it as a gift for Iris.
She explained: “I just recently bought this perfume. I don’t know if you remember, called Child from the ’90s that everyone wore. It was only available at Fred Segal on Melrose Avenue and I found it and I bought some for Iris and she was really excited.”
Iris previously revealed her her “biggest style icon” is Iris Law – the 25-year-old daughter of Jude Law and Sadie Frost – because she is “so cool and beautiful” while she also loves how Bella Hadid and Lily-Rose Depp dress.
In a conversation for Interview magazine with her sister Maude, Iris said: “I really love Bella Hadid’s style and also Lily Rose-Depp, but probably my biggest style icon–which may sound weird ‘cause we have the same name–is Iris Law.
“She’s really inspired all of my outfits that I look for online and I just think she’s so cool and beautiful.”
Her Euphoria star sister agreed, saying that she “totally” understands it, adding: “She is so beautiful and cool, I totally get that.”
