Singer Marc Anthony has revealed the gender of his eighth child as he prepares to welcomed a new baby with his fourth wife Nadia Ferreira.

The 57-year-old singer is expecting his second child with Nadia, 26, after they previously added a son named Marco to the family in 2023. The new baby will be Marc’s eighth child and the couple has now confirmed they are looking forward to the arrival of a daughter.
In a post on Instagram, Nadia shared a picture of herself holding up a pair of pink baby shoes and wrote: “A surprise full of love … God through it all.”
Marc is already dad to Marco, two with Nadia as well as Arianna, 31, and Chase, 35, with ex-girlfriend Debbie Rosado, Cristian, 25, and Ryan, 22, with his first wife Dayanara Torres, as well as 18-year-old twins Emme and Max with Jennifer Lopez.
Marc and Nadia married in Miami, Florida in January 2023 just months before Marco arrived in June of that year.
They announced their new baby in a joint post on Instagram in January as they celebrated their third wedding anniversary. They wrote: “Happy 3rd anniversary. What a huge gift life has given us. God is great. Marquito is going to be a big brother [sic].”
Speaking to Us Weekly last year, the singer insisted his kids are always his priority and he plans his career around them. He explained: “When you have kids and everything comes with a sense of responsibility, every time I put a show together, I wonder what all my kids would think if they were all sitting there at the same time.
“I want them to be proud and I always take that into account [of] what my kids, if I had all them sitting in the front row, would say. That’s always in the back of my mind.
“Everything I’ve done in my life has been with my family in mind and that’s how I’ve been able to manage, not so much, how I create, if not just the end product, does it represent not only me, but us as a family.”
Marc also opened up about his fourth marriage in a chat with E! News back in March 2025, saying: “I have a wonderful family, a wonderful wife – Marquito is a year and a half. I’m just enjoying this stage of my life.”
