Kris Jenner turned to weight loss jabs in a bid to slim down but they made her “really sick”.
The Kardashians star, 70, has confessed she tried Ozempic but she gave up because she struggled to cope with side effects which included crippling bouts of nausea.
During an appearance on the SHE MD Podcast, Kris explained: “I did not do, like, an Ozempic. I tried it. We tried it once when no one knew what it was and it made me really sick.
“I can’t work anymore. I can’t. I’m so sick. I can’t, like nauseous. And so she [Kris’ doctor] goes: ‘Okay, okay. Let’s try something else’ … [We] dialed around and looked at different options.”
Kris went on to reveal she decided to try a peptide injection and a range of supplements including fish oils and omega-3s instead – and she was much happier with the results.
She added: “I realized that a peptide injection was really great for me. And then I follow it up with supplements. And that was a game changer.
“That actually bought me an extra couple hours at night because I get up so early. I tend to want to go and collapse as soon as I have my last email or my last call or see my kids and have dinner and I’m done.”
Kris insisted her 2025 facelift has also helped her maintain her youthful looks, adding: “I had a very, well-known facelift a year ago. So that was helpful.”
It comes after Kris recently rebuffed claims she was not happy about her facial surgery, insisting she’s still thrilled with the results.
During an appearance on her daughter Khloe Kardashian’s Khloe in Wonderland podcast, Kris said: “Lately, it’s this headline about my facelift, which is really truly driving me crazy.
“The headline right now is that I hate my facelift, and I’m really mad at – I’m furious at my doctor, Steven Levine, which couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s a flat-out lie. I love my facelift. I adore my doctor. I’m obsessed with him.”
Kris previously opened up about her decision to go under the knife again 15 years after she previously had facial surgery.
In an interview with Vogue Arabia, she explained: “I had a facelift about 15 years ago, so it was time for a refresh.
“I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy. Just because you get older, it doesn’t mean you should give up on yourself. If you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully – meaning you don’t want to do anything – then don’t do anything. But for me, this is ageing gracefully. It’s my version.”
