Brooks Nader reveals the training she underwent for Baywatch

Brooks Nader has revealed how she’s prepared for the Baywatch reboot.

Brooks Nader underwent lifeguard training in preparation for her role in Baywatch.

The 29-year-old beauty stars alongside the likes of Stephen Amell, Shay Mitchell, and Livvy Dunne in the much-anticipated Baywatch reboot, and Brooks has revealed that she and her co-stars became “full certified lifeguards” in preparation for the TV show.

Speaking to People, Brooks shared: “We did three or four weeks of lifeguard training, swim training.

“You have to because one of the founders of Baywatch, the franchise, told us day one when we were learning CPR. He was like, ‘Actually pay attention to the skill of CPR and how you actually administer it because we’ve had hundreds of letters a day sent to the Baywatch franchise from people all over the world saying, ‘I saved my daughter’s life because I watched Baywatch and I learned CPR.'”

Brooks actually felt a weight of responsibility while she was undergoing the training.

She shared: “I felt a responsibility to take the training seriously because you really don’t know who you could be saving that’s watching at home.”

In April, Brooks revealed that she spent years preparing for her Baywatch role.

The blonde beauty feels proud to be part of the Baywatch reboot, having been inspired by the likes of Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra during her younger years.

Brooks – who appeared on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2023 – told People: “I’ve been doing this since I was like two years old. I’ve been ready for this. I’m like, ‘I got this.’ I’ve been watching the videos of Pam and Carmen Electra. I’m ready for this.

“I’ve been doing this in my mirror since I was like 10 years old. You know what I mean? So you’ll like my run.”

Brooks also recalled wearing the iconic Baywatch swimsuit for the first time, describing it as an “out-of-body experience”.

The model-turned-actress remembered the “wardrobe people” being reduced to tears by the moment.

Brooks shared: “They were like, ‘This is so big and this is so exciting.’ And I feel like the energy with the cast and the crew and everybody involved is just spectacular and everyone’s so excited to see it all come to life. I think everyone’s going to love the show and everyone’s working really hard. So it’s exciting.”
