The Kylie Cosmetics founder has daughter Stormi, eight, and son Aire, four, with former partner Travis Scott, and she has reflected on her very different experiences carrying her kids, as she was struggling with back pain and other medical issues the second time around.
Kylie had been struggling with back pain for over three years but it worsened when she was expecting Aire, leading to her waking up at around 12 weeks pregnant unable to walk.
Noting she had “high expectations” during her pregnancy because she was in the “best shape” of her life, she added on Jake Shane’s Therapuss podcast: “I had crazy sciatica pain and crazy lower back pain.
“I really wanted to work out.”
The 28-year-old beauty had times where she couldn’t leave her bed “because I was in so much back pain and sciatica pain.”
Noting her doctor had advised her not to move around, she added: “And lots of things were happening with my vagina.
“I was three centimeters dilated for like a month and a half, two months, the baby was falling out.”
The Kardashians star – who split from Travis in January 2023 and is now in a relationship with Timothee Chalamet – also gained 65lbs, leading to her weighing 210lbs when she gave birth after turning to food to keep her “horrible nausea” at bay.
She admitted: “I ate everything.
“I ate a pint of ice cream every night — I just dove right in.
“I had lots of ice cream. Just lots of carbs. Bagels.”
In contrast, Kylie’s pregnancy with Stormi was a “breeze” but she had been “freaking out” when she discovered she was having a baby at the age of just 19.
She said: “I was freaking out. I was really scared to tell my parents. I was really scared.”
When she told her parents, Kris and Caitlyn Jenner, “no one was mad”.
She added: “But there was something just inside of me that knew that I wanted to do this, and I had to make a decision for myself.
“And even if I have to do this alone, or however, this is the choice that I’m going to make.”
