Wyatt Russell has heaped praise on Emily Blunt, his Disclosure Day co-star.
Wyatt Russell thinks Emily Blunt is “incredible”.
The 39-year-old actor stars alongside Emily, 43, in Disclosure Day, the new Steven Spielberg-directed sci-fi movie, and Wyatt has heaped praise on the acclaimed actress.
Speaking to People, Wyatt shared: “As much command and just range and depth that she has as an actress, she’s also that great as a person, so it makes it a lot of fun to do it during the day.
“And it makes it easy for me, because a lot of my stuff is reacting off of her. So it was like, be a good listener and I think I’m gonna be all right. But yeah, whenever you get to work with anybody like her, who’s that good, it makes you better and it’s a gift that keeps on giving.”
Margo Seibert also relished the experience of working with Emily.
The actress – who also stars alongside the likes of Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, and Colman Domingo in the new film – shared: “I don’t know if you’ve heard this before, but truly like one of the moments that we have together is quite serious in nature and in the middle of it we both kind of mutually, I think she said, ‘Do you want to try and can we?’ And I said, ‘Yes.’ And then it became like what we do as humans.
“We infuse these moments that are full of fear or dread or panic or not knowing with humour to deal with it, to handle, to move on, to show our humanity. So that was very, very present on set.”
Meanwhile, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson previously heaped praise on Emily, describing the actress as one of his “best friends”.
The wrestler-turned-actor has worked with Emily on movies such as The Smashing Machine and on 2021’s Jungle Cruise, and he’s always relished the experience of collaborating with her.
Dwayne, 54 – who enjoyed a hugely successful career in the WWE, before turning his focus towards the film business – said at the Toronto Film Festival in 2025: “I also want to give Emily her flowers too. She is one of the greatest actors of our time — of all time. And also one of my best friends.
“In order to go to the place we were going to go, you have to have love, and then you have to have trust. And the love and the trust then allow for vulnerability. We could not have done that without this love and trust and vulnerability that we have.”
