Myleene Klass rules herself out of potential Hear’Say reunion

Myleene Klass has said she will not reunite with her Hear’Say bandmates, Kym Marsh, Danny Foster, Noel Sullivan, and Suzanne Shaw, to mark the pop group’s 25th anniversary.

Myleene Klass has turned down the chance to reunite with Hear’Say for the group’s 25th anniversary.

The 48-year-old star is not interested in getting together with her former bandmates, Kym Marsh, 50, Danny Foster, 47, Noel Sullivan, 45, and Suzanne Shaw, 44, with discussions having taken place to mark the group’s creation 25 years ago.

Appearing on the UK talk show Loose Women on Wednesday (01.07.26), Myleene said: “I loved my time in Hear’say, I know it’s 25 years this year.

“Listen, they’ve had their discussions, and I fully back them to go ahead and do a reunion.

“It’s not something I can commit to right at this moment. But you go and, you know, I’ll be front row – singing Pure and Simple!”

Hear’Say was formed on the UK talent show, Popstars, in November 2000, and they shot to fame four months later when their track, Pure and Simple, spent three weeks at the top of the UK Singles Chart.

But their second album, Everybody, failed to achieve the same success as their first, Popstars, which spent two weeks at the top of the UK Singles Chart.

In January 2002, Kym left the band following arguments with Myleene and Noel, and the group decided to split in October that year.

Kym, Myleene, Noel, Danny, and Suzanne went on to enjoy success in other areas of the entertainment industry.

Myleene does not think performing with her bandmates now will feel the same as it did back in the early 2000s.

She said: “Generally speaking, I think it’s very hard to replicate the feeling of the first time.”

Meanwhile, Suzanne has fond memories of her Hear’Say days.

She told the Sunday Express’ Sunday Magazine: “I have amazing memories. I’ll never forget our UK arena tour, or performing with stars like Sir Elton John and Lionel Richie.

“We had a rollercoaster ride, and it wasn’t always easy, but I’ll always have a very special bond with my bandmates.”

Last December, Kym said “never say never” to a Hear’Say reunion in an interview with Prima magazine.

She then teased: “We might pop up somewhere, just for a one-off performance down the line, to surprise everyone.

“But I think we are all just doing our own thing. We all still chat, which is nice.”
