Katie Price deliberately left some of her former partners out of her new documentary because they just “weren’t relevant to even mention”.
The former glamour girl has opened up about her life and loves in new four-part Sky series Kate Price: Nothing to Hide which features interviews with her ex-boyfriends including Another Level star Dane Bowers and pop singer Gareth Gates. However, many of her former lovers – including Gladiators star Warren Furman and her former fiance Kris Boyson – didn’t make the cut and Katie has now explained why.
During an appearance on The Katie Price Show podcast, she explained: “Sorry to some exes, you weren’t relevant to even mention.
“So I’m sure there are some exes out there going: ‘Oh, I wonder if they spoke about me so I can get another bit of fame out of it’.
“Sorry guys, nah you didn’t make the cut because you weren’t really that relevant in my life like you thought you was.”
Katie’s first husband Peter Andre, the father of her children Junior and Princess, was mentioned in the documentary but he declined to be interviewed onscreen.
The Mysterious Girl singer instead issued a statement which was shown in the third episode of Kate Price: Nothing to Hide in which he explained his absence and insisted he didn’t want to talk about their relationship because he wants to protect the former couple’s kids.
His message It read: “I have chosen not to speak publicly about these matters out of love and respect for Junior and Princess. “Today Katie and I maintain an amicable relationship in the interests of our children. I sincerely wish her happiness and peace for the future.”
Katie and Peter met on reality TV show I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! and produced two children, Junior and Princess, as well as their own fly-on-the wall TV series. They were married between 2005 and 2009. Katie is also mother to eldest son Harvey, 24, from a previous relationship who has special needs, as well as Jett, 12, and Bunny, 10, with her ex-husband Kieran Hayler.
During the documentary, Katie opened up about her romance with pop star Dane before she met Peter, calling him the “love” of her life, while she also opened up about her fling with Pop Idol sensation Gareth when he was 17. Both singers gave interviews for the show in which they opened up about their love affairs with Katie.
Her current husband Lee Andrews – who she married in Dubai earlier this year just weeks after they first met – also landed a mention.
